Zimbabwe Industrial and Agro-Processing Initiative
The Zim Forward Investment Association (ZimForward) is a membership-based association connecting local and diaspora Zimbabweans to invest, collaborate, and help grow the economy. Through our shared service hubs, training institute (ZiFTI), and transparent investment models using Special Purpose Vehicles, we facilitate access to resources, mentorship, and technical expertise for our member entrepreneurs, farmers, and artisans, making it easier to start, scale, and sustain businesses while driving skills development and economic transformation.

Commit to a Project
At ZimForward, we operate on a “Promise to Invest” model, where members and investors indicate their commitment to contribute funds, skills, or expertise to a specific project without transferring money through our platform. This approach allows us to coordinate and gauge interest before any financial or operational resources are committed. Once a project reaches its target number of promised investors, we connect the committed individuals directly with the Project Delivery Team, who manage the project and report progress back to investors. For members offering skills or expertise, interviews or assessments may be conducted to ensure the best fit for the project, creating a high-quality pool of contributors while maintaining transparency, accountability, and effective resource allocation.

Skills for Shares Program (S4S)
The ZimForward Skills for Shares Program allows skilled members to contribute their labour, technical expertise, or professional services to our projects and shared hubs in exchange for project shares and a small operational stipend. For every hour worked, members earn Skills Contribution Units, which convert into ownership in the specific SPV or project they help build. This ensures that those who contribute their hands, knowledge, and time become long-term beneficiaries of the value they create — not just employees, but partners in the growth of ZimForward’s projects.
